Last night, Galchenyuk would tally his first goal with the Eagles in overtime as the the team put up a hard fought win over the Coachella Valley Firebirds. He has three points in four games (one goal and two assists) and has contributed every game. Galchenyuk has been doing pretty well since coming onto the Eagles squad. It was a “significant” one according to coach Bednar, but who added “we will keep in touch with him as he gets healthy.” After he got healthy he has a PTO with the Colorado Eagles and he has shown up for it! Both William Eklund and Danil Guschin got assists on the goal. The second period started exactly opposite to the first period as just 1:09 in Andrew Agozzino scored for San Jose to get his eight goal of the season. That ended up being all the scoring in the first with the shots finishing in favor of San Jose at 13-11. ![]() Shorthanded though the Eagles scored a minute and 30 seconds into the powerplay from Spencer Smallman who got his first goal of the season.
